2024 SUMMER SUPPLEMENT PLAYER TRYOUTSI
Who: Current 3rd-11th graders
When: Monday 5/27/24 (Memorial Day)
Times:
5pm: Youth (3rd-8th grade)
6pm: HS (9th -11th grade)
Where: Middleboro Field of Dreams, 50 East Grove St., Middleboro, MA
TRYOUT FEE: $70 - includes pinney
Players should arrive 15 minutes before tryouts to check-in and receive a pinney.
SUMMER SEASON (Early June - Mid July)
Starting June 11th, Teams have two practices during the week on Tues/Thurs night (Youth 5pm-6:30pm; HS 6:30pm-8pm) in Plymouth, MA. Summer practices will include speed and agility training.
Starting June 19th, five Wednesday night optional skills/shooting/goalie clinic offerings in Middleboro, MA.
Youth teams have 3-4 weekend tournaments from July 15th through July 14th. Tournament locations include Taunton, MA; Hadley/Amherst, MA; and Essex, VT.
High School athletes high school teams play in 3-4 tournaments between mid June through roughly July 24. At each of these tournaments there are college coaches, evaluating players for recruiting.
The season concludes by mid July for all athletes so families can enjoy their summer before school resumes.
GOALIES
Goalies get all of the above and goalie training each week. We have a designated head goalie coach, and two other staff members who where college goalies. We bring in special goalie coached too - for example, Molly Laliberty - NCAA D1 Champion goalie from Northwestern - came for a clinic in 2024.
DRAW CONTROL
We train our draw takers on the draw. It is specialty training clinics offered during the year with Caitlyn Petro - The former UMass Amherst D1 recordholder and NCAA record holder for draws. Caitlyn comes to us and each of her clinics are 2 hours of training.
The cost will include all practices, skills clinics, specialty clinics, tournaments, and more offered in June and July.
What is not included? Food, travel, and lodging. New athletes must buy the uniform package (approximately $75).
2023-2024 cost for all of the above summer training and tournaments:
HS $1,450
Youth (5th-8th grade) $1,175
3/4 grade: $875
Scholarships are available.
